Halloween Gradient: OPI Bogota Blackberry, Essie's Sexy Divide

I did these awhile back and never posted about them (I have sooooo many photos to go through. I know, I’m lazy)
Image
The first gradient is OPI Bogota Blackberry and Essie Licorice. Burgundy polishes are one of those colors that are a dime a dozen, but Bogota Blackberry is definitely worth buying! It’s got a gorgeous deep shimmer, and is a deep, red-tone as opposed to purply red.
Image
Red base burgundys/purples are usually better for people with orangy/yellow skin tones (me). It’s crazy how different a simple tinge can make a polish look, but finding a polish that compliments your skin tone can make a huge difference it how your hands look. Think of it as eyeshadow for your nails lol :P
Image
I started this next gradient with Essie’s “Licorice” and “Sexy Divide” but I didn’t find the purple was quite purply enough, so I layered OPI’s “Servin Up Sparkle” over it from their Serena Williams set.
Image
I love these vampy type gradients- definitely a way to kick up the stereotypical “black nails” for halloween.

I know it’s simple, especially in comparison to all the fancy pants nail art decor & stamping, but I love a simple gradient. They’re great for short/small nails that can’t really fit intense nail art.
So, what are your halloween nail plans?

Moom Organic Hair Removal Review :) Get smoov! :P

Kay, this might be a little long winded :)
Sorry for the crappy pics, I'm using my phone till my new camera charger arrives.
Image
First off, I'm no skin care professional, nor was I paid or otherwise bribed (lol) I won this from a giveaway thanks to fabbylus blogger Ashley Elizabeth, whose site you can find here:  http://blog.alelizabeth.com/
Anyways, here's my plain jane review of Moom's Organic Hair Removal set :)
I've never used any type of sugaring product before. (Note- Sugaring is the same style process as waxing, but does not use wax as wax is generally less efficient and more detrimental to the skin) However, I used to epilate my legs. If anyone's had experience with that before, you know that it's a painful process, but it's worth it. I haven't depilated my legs for abut 5 years, but hair growth is still patchy and no where near as thick as untreated legs. I depilated for 2 years, and after the first 6 months of keeping up with it my legs were pretty much hairless.
Wait, so am I saying run out and get an epilator? Nope. Epilating is extremely time consuming. For those of you who don't know, it's basically whirring little tweezer pinchers, and you have to go over and over and over the same spot. It's painful, but after the first time you do it, the second time it magically doesn't hurt anymore. It's weird and doesn't make sense, but awesome. However, you're still stuck with the time consuming-ness. My point here is that I know from personal experience that removing the hair from the root is the most efficient way of having smooth legs, and the hair gets thinner & finer & eventually stops growing back.
Sugaring seems really scary at first but you just have to (wo)man up & do it. If you pull the strip hesitantly or slowly you're only making your life harder. It's going to be uncomfortable & the hair removal isn't going to be as efficient. It takes a quarter second to pull the strip & 98% of your hair will come out with it. What I really like about Moom is that not only are the fabric strips reusable but they're extremely durable as well. Also, their hair remover has virtually no scent at all, as opposed to the burning horrid Nair smell or chemical/overly perfumed smell of waxes.
I have trouble with dry skin, and this did not bother my legs at all. On top of that, it also helps exfoliate your legs by pulling off dead skin with the hair, and I could actually see the difference :)
ImageI started off with 2 smaller strips, and left a strip of untreated hair running down the middle- you can see the difference in the skin, and how much hair one pull removed!
Obviously, you're not going to want to put a bunch of questionable chemicals on your face, which is why their sugaring system is exceptional for your face! I attacked my upper lip (a fuzzstache is still a moustache, I'm just lucky it's blonde lolz!) & my brows.
I don't care who you are, admit it- you have a couple of stray hairs between your brows you don't want there & you tweeze them whenever they pop up. This stuff is gentle enough to use on the face, and since it's organic & free of harmful chemicals it's safe to have close to your eyes.
Image
I would definitely use this product again- I loved the legs I had when I was using an epilator (it died and I never replaced it), but I hated how time consuming & dirty & uncomfortable it was (you had to constantly clean hair out of it)
The set also comes with a nice wrinkle rewind cream that comes in a high quality sturdy jar. I have awful bags under my eyes and am starting to get wrinkles because I pretty much sleep on my face. Yep, face plant. I started trying their under eye product on Monday & took pics & will have a follow up post in 2 weeks. I've tried a ton of creams, but not really consistently- I'm making sure I stick with this so I can give a true review!
On a side note, I was using Mirra's under eye cream for awhile- and it's crap. It's garbage. It pisses me off. I chunked it in the trash and lamented the waste of $10.00 I spent on it. During application it dissolves and gets all oily and gross, and after a week of use it started to give me tiny pimples & bumps right on my cheek bones & on the thin under eye skin and that's one of the WORST places. I pride myself in being allergic to basically nothing ever, so I highly doubt I was just having a personal reaction. I hate you, Mirra cream. You suck.

Have you tried or heard of Moom yet? How do you have a smooth night on the town leg?

OPI oldie "Sit Under The Apple Tree" + Buttah London + New Beauty Site

This OPI is an oldie but a goodie- I found it while I was at a Publix on the way home. I love stopping by places you wouldn't expect to sell polish as they usually have some old colors. I also picked up Espresso Yourself & Lincoln Park At Midnight :)
Image
It looks green in the bottle- but it's not. Think "Golden Delicious Apple" and you're on the right track.
Image
It's also extremely sheer- it took 4 coats to get a good solid color, but even then it was kinda blah for me, so I threw some Essie "Above The Cut" over it (2 coats) and it looked super cute!
Image
I love Essie's Lux Effects set :D At first I thought this polish would be just another glitter, but I really like the dusky pink to it and the coverage is great.
Image
Also, in case you haven't heard about Coterie, you can sign up here:
and use the code "ZOEREPORT" for $25.00 off your first purchase! That means you can get 3 Butter London's + Topcoat for $15.00! I can't promise if it still works or not, but it should :) I scored Westend Wonderland, Bluey & Knackered!
Image
The others I nabbed during Ulta's BOGO- Trustafarian (my FAV!), Dodgy Barnett, Lady Muck, & Blue Smoke.
This is Bluey- at first I really didn't like this polish. At all. I thought it looked cheap & that the application was crap. It took me 4 applications for opacity. It'd be wayyyy easier to start this off over a similar colored base coat, however with the 4 applications you get sparkliness & depth to it :)
This color grew on me- it's fab! Once I saw it out in the sun (I painted my nails at night) I was thrilled! It has an extremely eyecatching teal & dark blue microshimmer that is extremely brilliant, it's all suspended in a dark blue translucent base coat. This is really what gives it depth.
Image
Another new beauty site is called "Sindulge"- I have no idea what they'll be like, but I'm guessing it's similar to Coterie. Sign Up HERE! :D
Did you score any Coterie polishes? How 'bout some Butter London's from Ulta's BOGO? :)

Not to be whiny, but grrr my Coterie order isn't here yet!!! I got 3 Butter London polishes & a Matte top coat for $11.00! They open in one day- if you want to nab your free $25.00 credit click here to sign up. :) They're like Hautelook but for beauty products only! Btw, Hautelook has Color Club polishes 40% off soooo go check it out!
This polish is from Ulta's BOGO free sale :)
Image
My camera was being stupid so the pics are kind of crappy :/ I couldn't sleep and had entirely too much time on my hands and made some cute triangl-y art.
Image
I honestly wasn't super happy with the tip-wear- I had a chip within 24 hours and some noticeable wearing. In its defense, I used a different base than I usually do as I'm pretty much out of the usual annnnd I was doing a good bit of cook prep.
Image
What polishes did you score from Ulta's BOGO?
:)

Chanel nail polish for a DOLLAR + Butter London Nail Mail + Giveaway winnings

I've been on Wordpress for about 2 months now, and I'm finally doing a blogspot too, because damnit there are so many awesome nail blogs on here :)
Soooo I went to Goodwill yesterday and found a bunch of polishes for only a buck each! I didn't know they sold that kind of stuff there- needless to say, when I found this I almost died: This is Organdy- I also found Ballerina!
Image
At first I was like meh, another pink, but once I put it on I was like :D woo! That, and using super expensive polish makes me feel all fanc-ay :)
Image
I also got this from Aero Shot Energy- it's strange stuff, but it definitely gives you a kick!
Image
Ok, now here's a (kind of funny) story. So, I scored some awesome polishes from Ulta's BOGO Butter London's and I'd been waiting for them. The usual mail guy drops packages off at the garage as we never use the front door- lo and behold, they have a guy sub sometimes, so I went up to the front door and it was a mini freaking Christmas!
There was a Sephora box from last week, a package of perfume samples from eBay, a Zoya from Copious, a giveaway package from blogger iluvbeautie-
here's some of the polishes I got from her, as well as some AWESOME Bath & Body Works shower gels and an ELF ultimate cosmetics kit!
Image
I didn't have any of these yet- great set to round out my China Glaze collection, and the metallic crackle is super cool!
aaaaaaand my Butter London Polishes!!!
Image
Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!
They were literally selling out before my eyes, so I didn't get all the colors that I wanted, but I did get some of the ones I've been craving- (in order) Trustafarian, Knackered, Miss Muck, and Big Smoke! I can't *wait* to swatch these, they're my first ones ever!!
Did you score any during Ulta's one day BOGO?
